Lise CARDELLA (née Morin)

1932 – 2020

La famille de Lise Morin Cardella est profondément triste de vous annoncer le décès, le 19 décembre, de notre mère après une lutte courageuse contre la Covid-19 au Centre d’hébergement de l’Hôtel-Dieu-de-Saint-Hyacinthe.

Mariée 60 ans avec notre père, feu Orlando “Pat” Cardella, ils ont habité Montréal, Otterburn Park, et Mont-Saint-Hilaire. Elle est allée rejoindre son affectueux Pat pour de nouveau marcher et danser ensemble.

Nous nous souviendrons de Mamie, Mom, M’man pour son amour profond pour sa famille, son courage face à la sclérose en plaques, et son désir de toujours être bien habillée.

Lise était la fille de feu Joseph Morin et feu Cécile Berthiaume.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Linda (feu Sylvain Cournoyer), Louise (Tim Fitzpatrick), Sylvie (Ron Mahler), Vincent (Sharon Gillis), et Martin (Martine Archambault), ses petits-enfants Jonathan Cournoyer (Dawn-Tara Whitham), Simon Cournoyer (Ariane Desjardins), Matthew Verge, Alex Verge (Sarah Kowal), Taylor Fitzpatrick (Perry Sawatzky), Meaghan Brown (Andrew Brown), Courtney Manser (Jeff Manser), Dylan Mahler (Elaine Kelly-Canning), Jessie Di Tomaso (Chris Di Tomaso), Josh Cardella, Evelyne Cardella (Jason Lucas), et Daphnée Cardella (Ryan Steen), ses arrière-petits-enfants Lilianne Cournoyer, Isabelle Cournoyer, Ainsley Brown, Felicity Brown, Mia Manser, Nico Manser, et Ronan Kelly-Mahler.

La famille tient à remercier le personnel de l’unité des Érables et l’unité du Parc du Centre d’hébergement de l’Hôtel-Dieu-de-Saint-Hyacinthe pour leurs bons soins.

En raison des circonstances actuelles, nous avons tenu une inhumation privée.

The family of Lise Morin Cardella is deeply sad to announce the death, on December 19, of our mother after a courageous battle with Covid-19 at her residence, Centre d’hébergement de l’Hôtel-Dieu-de-Saint-Hyacinthe.

She and our father, the late Orlando “Pat” Cardella, were married for 60 years and lived in Montreal, Otterburn Park, and Mont-Saint-Hilaire. She’s now with her loving Pat once again walking and dancing together.

We will always remember Mamie, Mom, M’man for her profound love for her family, her courage in living with MS, and her love of fine clothing.

Lise was the daughter of the late Joseph Morin and the late Cécile Berthiaume.

She leaves to mourn her children Linda (late Sylvain Cournoyer), Louise (Tim Fitzpatrick), Sylvie (Ron Mahler), Vincent (Sharon Gillis), and Martin (Martine Archambault), her grandchildren Jonathan Cournoyer (Dawn-Tara Whitham), Simon Cournoyer (Ariane Desjardins), Matthew Verge, Alex Verge (Sarah Kowal), Taylor Fitzpatrick (Perry Sawatzky), Meaghan Brown (Andrew Brown), Courtney Manser (Jeff Manser), Dylan Mahler (Elaine Kelly-Canning), Jessie Di Tomaso (Chris Di Tomaso), Josh Cardella, Evelyne Cardella (Jason Lucas), and Daphnée Cardella (Ryan Steen), her great-grandchildren Lilianne Cournoyer, Isabelle Cournoyer, Ainsley Brown, Felicity Brown, Mia Manser, Nico Manser, and Ronan Kelly-Mahler.

The family wishes to thank the staff who took good care of our mother in the des Érables and du Parc care units of the Centre d’hébergement de l’Hôtel-Dieu-de-Saint-Hyacinthe.

Due to the current situation, we held a private burial.
